go to www.gridgets.com from your iPoT, click the gear icon, then click the plus sign.

select the all tab, then select the "iPhone Typing Test" Plus sign icon to add it to your online springboard.


return to the springboard by pressing done at the top of the page

enter the typing test app, run the test and post your results.


Try it in portrait and landscape!


Portrait: 28 WPM

Landscape: 26 WPM

But, I usually try to avoid typing in Prtrait if I possibly can, so I'm not very practised at the smaller keyboard.

i prefer portriat.

i dont even watch my fingers, they just flail all about and it just KNOWs what i wanted to type. it must be some kind of sourceror.

i have been steadily improving, and am now up to 35 Port and 41 Land

i got an easyish one without any # or symbols and got 36 wpm (in landscape btw)

i didnt try it cuz my hands are greasy from eating pizza... and i dont feel like touching my ipod touch, but i dont care about my keyboard

i find it very hard to type on the touch due to there being no 'feedback' from the unit itself... like nothing gets pushed down like on a keyboard or phone...
