Currently, i use Limewire, before that i used Ares. Anyone know if theres anything better? Limewire does a decent job but theres still songs i can't get with it.

I used to use limewire, but seeing what happened to my old computer has scared me into not using it any more. Recently I have been using the safair plugin to dl music :). I dled like 15 songs in the last hour, only bad thing is there is a lot of songs I want that aren't on there. I want the new atreyu album and none of the songs are on there.

Yeah... You'd be crazy to download any song/video under 1mb.

It's also annoying when you download something and it's porn.

A couple of years ago, I was downloading a heroes episode I missed and I plugged the computer into the tv so everyone could watch it and I opened it up....

All I can say is my parents weren't too thrilled when "Channel 69's Chunky Chicks" came up.

i use limewire to get my music but i also use a porgram called emule it lets you download everything u can on limewire but when you download movies/tv shows it downloads the whole thing:):):):)

shot i use www.mp3fresh.net (http://www.mp3fresh.net) and that is the only website i use to download individual songs. if the song it not there email the man and he will put it on the website in about 3 days. i asked for the full albums. i never got a virus since. but the thing is you need to convert them from a .class file to .mp3 files. that can take serious work but it is worth it. I also use another one called www.free-albums.net/albums (http://www.free-albums.net/albums) as you guess it download full albums in a zip file (all in mp3 format). i also use http://www.maxalbums.com also to download full albums (i rarely use it because i find my albums on the first two websites. i hope this help any one!

p.s. if you do go on any of these site... beware of random pops ups... i know they get annoying though!

I use bearshare. Used to kazaa and limewire but there was too many viruses, mislabelled media, etc.

I use eMule :) Its much cleaner than limewire, the day i downloaded it it was gone! Ew Limewire sucks.

no, thousands of people have done that, your not clever, especially when your hard drive fries and your SOL , all because you used limewire

It's ok, that's true, I use iTunes to get the good quality songs though..

And Ares is good but not all songs can be found on there, Bearshare, lets not talk about this one...

So Limewire Pro is the way to go.

Download Limewire, then off limewire download Limewire Pro I believe its Version 4.12, but there could be more, just make sure you have an Anti virus installed, and taht its a Zip file, to anyone who wants the pro just do that, I got it and hasn't given me any problems.

Now some poeple here also say Frostwire is Way better than Limewire, I don't know haven't used it, but the downloads come from other peoples computers, so basically It's all the Same, Just think about it this way...

Ares: 1 user (the guy up top) LOL just kiddin man! I have it too.

FrostWire: 100.5 Million users= EVERY SONG IN THE WORLD (or just some)

the more people that use the program the more songs and variety you will get.

Lets say that Frostwire users only half of them actually share they're music and Limewire users all share they're music.

Your better off with Limewire.

:eek:i use iTunes and buy the songz i kno i like and im gonna play 4 ever....but then i use limewire for the almost good songz that get tiring after a while..everybody knows the ones im talkin about..u like it 4 a couple days..then after that it gets old really fast..:eek:

You get complete albums and all tracks are great quality, and if you have a rapidshare acount then you can get as many albums as you want with no time delay. The download speed is so much faster than limewire or bearshare even with lots of connections and you don't have the problem of viruses, trojens, songs not as they should be and poor quality; plus you get the whole album. So many times I've tried that with limewire and Bearshare but was always missing 2-3 tracks that noone seemes to have.

i use blubster......pretty nice
