no it will not work
The headphone jack on the ipod touch does not support video output, only the 15 pin connector supports video out

This used to work on the Ipod video, but apple changed it in the ipod touch so that we have to buy the cable from them, go to the online store I think they have them, but if you try a regular 1/8"-to-RCA cable the audio will work, I tried it.

Yes this will not work. Waiting for cheap chinese adapter to come out on ebay...
