It automatically saves the images to your Photo.app!!!
You can find wallpapers online, SAVE THEM, and use them!!

Heres how you use it.

Go to safari and find a nice image you want, and view it Full size.
Then close safari and open IMGrab
Select "Import History" and your last URL should be on the top.
Select your URL and hit "Confirm"
Your image should come up on the screen.
Hit "Save"

After it is saved, you can find it in your Photo.app under "Camera Roll"

Actually, funny you should say that as that is exactly what I was doing. When i go to the page do I just press home, tap IM grab and tab "import history", because that is exactly what i'm doing.

Refresh the image if you have to and then go to IMGrab

And if it crashes when you open it, you need to change the permissions!!

Ok the problem is that I am running Firmware 1.1.1 I did not have the correct location for the History.plist in newer releases. Shortly I will be releasing an updated version that covers the location of the History.plist. Along with other fixes and additions sorry for the mix up i hope that this will fix many if not all of your Issues.

I installed it and was getting the error 1040: PREVIEW FAILED CHECK INTERNET CONNECTION (my internet connection was fine) so i re-booted my touch. I got the same problem as a25mx. demo.app is shown on the screen and all my icons were re-arranged.

EDIT: it seems that it is trying to make my springboard like a iPhone one. safari is in my dock.

Really usefull app, but maybe in the future you could make the app as a Safari plug-in to make it easier. Great app though :D!!

ok i fixed it, just installed the blaze soure and i had an update with the jiggy runtime... updated it and it worked, my icons were rearanged but then went to customize and now its fixed,

this is one of my fav apps, but i dosnt seem to pick up on images from other web sites except google images....

Cool idea but crappy implementation, doesn't seem to be working for anyone.

On my touch it saves the images but I get no camera role, have rebooted several times...

EDIT: oh, and it doesn't seem to be working with facebook, which is unacceptable

hello. this download helped me retrieve the history portion. the camera roll failed to appear but the pic was saved.

maybe this is a stupid question but are the pics that are uploaded through itunes saved in "var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE", "var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE" or in a different area? i ask because when previously searching through the file via winscp, i have never noticed a cache relating to photos(itunes) through either of the "...DCIM/100APPLE" routes. thank you for the knowledge...

well I don't know if I'm the first to say, but screen shots from the dock app go into the photos app, (camera roll folder) which is really cool

no they put pictures somewhere else. This directory is the camara roll

Used for saving your pictures taken with an iPhone but the touch supports that folder too.

Do you have Firmware 1.1.3 and did the application create a Media/DCIM/100APPLE directory that didn't exist before? I would try deleting the new Media directory!

try reinstalling the source..MAYBE that will help...from my experience Main Script Execution Failed has to do with the file wasnt uploaded right..the source/file is down..or you dont have enough space available in the 300mb partion

Okay, so I actually got mine to work, but the photos are really pixelated. I went to a few sites that had iphone/ipod wallpapers, and added them, and in the app they look sharp and everything, but then they look washed out and blurry in the camera roll. Any reason why?

I have done everything and tried all the fixes on here, but still no luck. I love he app, as I got to use it , and it was really awesome. But I just could not find the photos. Even after manually adding Camera roll, still no go. For some reason, my iPod doesnt have /100APPLE folder. I even manually created it and no luck. I had this folder when I was in 1.1.1 but ever since I went to JB 1.1.3 Dev team JB, I cant seem to find it anymore. And please I am no novice, I have looked all over, with no luck, the folder just aint there (100APPLE). I guess that's why it doesnt work for me after all the fixes. But GREAT app, CONGRATULATIONS. it's an awesome step.

You will only have to reboot if you can not find "Camera Roll" in your photo app.

Any images you have saved, should be saved in camera roll.

yep the new main.js is working with 1.1.3 but like everyone else, the camera roll folder isnt there. Pics are saving but we are not sure where

The save button doesn't show for me, I have the Camera Roll and it loads the safari history, even the image shows but not the save button...

hey guys,,,, i had the same problems about "loading history" and "Saved picture won't show up on caremra roll"....i finnlay fix my problem with editing main.js files inside of imgrab.app folder.
here's what i changed..

/var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE to /var/mobile/Media/DCIM/100APPLE

/var/root/Library/Safari/History.plist to /var/mobile/Library/Safari/History.plist

just Download this FILE (http://cid-ae17a6250cb58666.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/main.js) and overwrite it on Application/IMGrab.app folder.
(when you download file, use Right Click and Save File As)

i'm using 1.1.3 and unlcoked with ziphone2.4

I think it can only save an address that ends in .jpg or .png. I got that same message when i tried to download any other page.

I downloaded the IMGrab app through installer source. Checked all permissions and they seem good. I have Jiggy 0.26 and Jiggy Runtime 0.26 installed (permissions on Jiggy set to 0755 as well).

BTW, I am using a 1.1.2 iPhone....

I have been waiting for this app for a long time...ANY help is greatly appreciated...

Sweet, this is an awesome app.
I only had one problem: After I updated to Jiggy Runtime 0.26 [using the source you provided] I was able to load IMGrab. I imported my history and got the pic I wanted and saved it and everything. Then I went into my Photos and the camera roll folder wasn't there. So I restarted my ipot [held the power button down]. When it came back up, my summer and springboard had been reset, so I had to go into Customize and rearrange everything. However, the camera folder was there this time and it had my pic in it.
Just a bit of a nuisance, but it's alright now.

I love the fact that it integrates with Photo.app, but couldn't the interface be a bit more like HistoryDL's? I don't like how you can only see basically the domain name of the URLs until you actually click on them. Also, the scrolling menu displays only 3 or 4 URLs at a time. In HistoryDL, you see the filename of each page in the History (this name obviously tells you more about the image than the domain name does), and the list uses the full screen so that you can see something like 8 or 9 URLs at once.

"Jiggy-Currently unavailable" when i pressed the Help button.
And after click Save the screen showing like a camera taking picture then go to black screen. I don't see the message saying "Successly saving.....". What is wrong here? i've installed both Jiggy & Jiggy Runtime v.26. Anybody know how to fix it? i uninstalled and reinstalled both Jiggy couple times, but still same problem!

All things you are talking about ARE fixed.
If you can't read, your fault. Being stupid = Stupid recommendations.
So first read. That's all you have to do. If you can't then just don't install ANYTHING.

It took some time, a little editing, etc. It does work. But, many of these people want to hack the Touch and want it simple. Its been hacked. Don't expect simple. Especially since there are different JB's out there.

Install the Jiggy Runtime, IMGrab, many will need to do the edit on the N45AP.plist. Now, and very important the end of the URL that you have listed in Safari, must be edited with .jpg

after a little tweaking, it works great!

I finally got it to work, and I have to say this is the best app on my ipodtouch right now, it has replaced my safari on the dock. That's how much I rate your APP man, kudos, and keep the work up.

I don't have any problems, the app is working fine, just i replaced the file main.js in the IMGrab folder. The only little issue for me is the name in spanish of Camera Roll (Carrete de Cámara) is so funny name, and my question is: i want change the name, where i can do it this?

The Latest Version of Jiggy Runtime is required.
HERE IT IS: http://jiggyapp.com/i/zips/jiggy-rt-latest.zip
Heres how you use it.

Go to safari and find a nice image you want, and view it Full size.
(THE URL MUST BE APPENDED AS A .JPG, OR A .PICTURE FILE or it wont work!!!)
Then close safari and open IMGrab
Select "Import History" and your last URL should be on the top.

IF you have problems with Importing your history....
Download this: http://cid-ae17a6250cb58666.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/Public/main.js
and replace it with the one in the app
Select your URL and hit "Confirm"
Your image should come up on the screen.
Hit "Save"

After it is saved,

REBOOT YOUR IPOD! Turn it off, and Turn it on.

Any images you have saved, should be saved in camera roll.



Do the above and after saving a url, end it in .jpg

You have to install "Jiggy Runtime" it's available in Installer under "Development" category.

Well with some minor tweaks I got it to work, and it's a nice app

but we need FACEBOOK functionality!!

hey please help me ... i was on my fw 1.1.1 on my ipod touch and everything was fine.. now i updated to 1.1.4 and the app doesnt work.. i had the 1003 error , my contacts apps has dissapear AND I STILL HAVE THE IMAGES DOWNLOAD ON 1.1.1 ON CAMERA ROLL ON PHOTOS.APP.... IS THIS APP WORKS SUCCESFULLY ON 1.14 .. OR I HAVE TO WAIT FOR AN UPDATE??

Just be patient and wait for the update it will arrive in a little while.

Wow this works great guys! I'm on my jailbroken 1.1.3, and it works flawlessly. Nice job.

why is it that. When I save an image it goes super blurry in camera roll? I hve it open on safari and it looks really nice, ex a background I would wanna use, then when I save it and go to see it its like someone added a blur affect from photoshop to it. I mean super blurry. And a few pics I would download it would look good. But I went back to them today and they are super blurry now.
Any ideas why?

How small is the image because Photos actually expands them!

umm,, when i go to my photos the picture isnt there, what did i do? lol...

if the picture is blurry, try waiting a good 10 seconds for it to clear up..

What version jiggy runtime do you have?

reinstall jiggy runtime then completely reboot.

ive done 3 diff 320x480 pics (ipods screen size)
they go blurry for some reason.. you know when you scroll through pics really fast and it shows a blurry version of it for a second then goes clear? its stuck at that. ok i just let it sit for 20 seconds or so and now all the blurry pics are clear. weird! well nvm then!
btw- im not complaining! at all! you guys rock!!!
