Lounge reports that Blue Raven makes a combination mic/line jack for iPod/a standard 32 dock. VOIP requires a headset w/ separate mic and line jack. Does Blue Ray put us one step closer to VOIP on touch?

Considering the official SDK isn't going to be released until next year, you probably won't get too far posting there for an official client...

I've heard that Blue Raven has come up with a combo gooseneck fm transmitter/rear-mounted kickstand! Where's my debit card!

not totally sure but it probably doesnt work because of the lack of voice notes software, which is found on other iPods. But even if voice recording doesnt work, it may still work as I device for speaking and listening to a VOIP program. But that too requires software. So I wouldn't give up on it yet. I might give it a try to see if it functions in other ways.

With the update to 1.1.2, is it possible that the Blue Raven recorder works now?
It hasn't been confirmed or denied that the firmware update did/did not add 'line in' capability to the headphone jack/line out. It's entirely possible that it could have been added. I'm going to pursue this with Blue Raven.
