Ok, im a graphic designer. i take classes in photoshop and image ready. but so far i had only tried photo touchups, manipulations, effects and such things (see my avatar :D) but this is my first time making sigs and i really want to know if im on the right track or if i need to refine my sig making technique a lil bit. constructive criticism please. if you think the graphic is crap and i deserve death for making it thats your opinion and i respect it but keep it to yourself please. here it is

It looks pretty good, and keep in mind I rarely say that about most of the graphics on here.... as many people know :). Although I can give some advice, The colors are a bit dull, the render on the right looks choppy and the text is basically just white text with, lens flairs? One thing that many beginner or even intermediate photoshop users is that they have a very hard time blending and using text, blending is very had to do and usually requires tons of brushing. I'm not aware of how long you have been using photoshop but from this I would say 6-7 months or so? It's pretty good, keep practicing :).

I'm a graphic designer too. And I say it's good.
We all have our styles. I would say that you used that curved vector brush too much.
Other than that I give it a 9.2 out of 10

Looks pretty good. The images seem to look a bit grainy, like around the hand, but other than that very nice.

Other then a couple summerboard themes; I am pretty much worth nothing when it comes to photoshop.

thnx :). and nah ive been photoshoping for less than 4 months. i try to make the fadings as smooth as i cna but sometimes i get em sometimes i dont. and for the other kid. starting a flame war with a mod. not smart at all lol

and his/her sig isnt ugly (srry i dont know if you a guy or a girl) its awesome. and if crazy is a girl though and thats her on the sig.......one word. "goddam":D

I think its good - only problem can see is the text on the right is a little rought (particularly the C) ad on the left the background is too close to the text color, makes it a little strange looking - maybe copy the text into a new layer and apply a slight gradient to it, like white on the left and very light gray on the right, to make it look the same but a little more even

I think crazyloof is afraid that somebody is better then him. I mean, your siggy(not a banner) is just a picture and a render blended in...
And as for redjoker, your Design "studio" name doesn't work. It should be more like freemind designs, not freeminds designs. It just doesn't sound rite, otherwise, Great siggy!

lol yeah it really is. but back when we started it it was a lot of us. like 12 people. tahts why its freeminds. 12 minds lol. but now its just me and i hire people for certain jobs, so its freemind (my mind lol) email was made back then so thats why its like taht. ill see if i can change it though.a nd thnx!:D

i dont recall ill check the psd. but i think it wasnt. what does that really do anyways lol. im fairly new to photoshop im still gettin used to what the stuff does and what everything means

no i just started messing around.(some of the greatest works of art in photoshop history were made this way lol) my friend gave me the font and i started adding to it.


And what does freeminds designs do?

we do graphics, photo retouching for local modeling agencies ( i live in puerto rico) and for the public in general, banners, sigs, stuff like that. im trying to convince this guy to sign with us, if he does we can start doing web and myspace layouts too :D but yeah thats us (technically me, but yeah lol. i explained it in last post)

You always want to see what others make, in my case, you were complaining that you haven't seen anything from me..your sig sucks, wanna see some made by me?

people lets not make this a flaming war against crazyloof and his art. personally i like his graphics (the ones ive seen so far)

i think my work sucks lol. almost every artist thinks their work sucks. or at least taht its lacking in some way. then we try to make it better. and tahts why we keep improving. bekause our works are never perfect to us, they just get better as we learn more. my art is not better than anyone elses. simply bekause i have my style of art and crazyloof and other artists have theirs. so my art is not better its just my style. and he uses his style for his work

How are you a mod? Every time I see a post from you your putting someone down or arguing. There are so may respectable mods on here, theres no need for you :)

Edit: Redjoker, your designs decent, i prefer more simplistic stuff but i especially like the star in the middle
