Not trying to cause a panic ...
But it occurs to me that Apple would need to release a 64-bit capable iTunes with drivers for iPod/iPhone (and maybe the Windows 64-biters will get use of their iPods as well!).

The current version of iTunes in Leopard is 32-bit and the same version as in Tiger. I don't see any reason why they'd change this.

As far as I know windows 64 bit users are perfectly capable of running 32-bit iTunes on their computers. A 64 bit native OS doesn't "require" all of the programs to run in 64-bit. It just can't take advantage of the increased performance offered by the 64-bit architecture is all.

Agreed ... iTunes runs, but you can't use it with your iPod touch or iPhone because that requies a 64-bit driver. (There are several posts that say you get a message stating to "plug your iPod into a 32-bit windows machine".).
