how will file sharing go? will i be able to access and use files, lets say on the c drive while im in os x? so like, say i have my music in my documents which is in C: but max os x is in F:, will i be able to play the music files in itunes from my C: drive? which brings another quesion, will i be able to install apps on C: so i can still use them from there so i dont have to unallocate half my drive... i hope that made sense, so hows that work?

You can access the C drive directly from OSX. And I believe you can install some apps into the C drive when in OSX, as it just shows up as another drive.

ok, i hoped and kinda thought this, i had read about being a mac and using bootcamp and how that couldnt write or do anything if you were in windows, i jsut wasnt sure if you could doing it with dual booting mac from xp... sounds kinda stupid that bootcamp doesnt let you do that... something they should fix

Yeah its kinda weird that macs will read NTFS drives but windows wont read HFS+

But I thought bootcamp let windows read HFS+ :confused:

You need an application for WINDOWS called MacDrive. Its from Media Four.

It will make your Mac OS X drive show up in Windows.

Its what I use on my Mac and my HP Laptop.

I don't know about XP but in Vista you can't save anything to that drive from the OSX drive, but you can read files from the Vista drive and save them to your OSX drive.
