Ok, I've found my mini thats been lost for YEARS! And so, I hook it up to iTunes, it asks for an update, and then I accept. Now, its all done and my iPod won't show up in iTunes, but my comp recognizes it.
Its been so long I don't remember how to fix this.

Try going into disk mode. Menu and Center to restart and Play and Center to disk mode (be quick about it)... I think those are the correct combinations

They are, I've done that, all it needed was a nice fresh firmware written to it in iPodWizard.

but, you have an iPod touch, what will you do with your mini?

ive tried this with my gurlfriends and cant get any pic or screen to show up in itunes 8.02
any ideas
