So I was sitting in class and I was sitting next to a couple dudes talking about Ipods and one mentioned that he can steal them from his store and resell it! So I ask him for a 16gb IpodTouch and he said "Okay 350, brand new! Good savings!" So I took him up on the bet and 2 days later he brings it to class, brand new and all. He even let me pay him later so I can make sure it was the real deal! So I keep asking myself if it was the right thing to do to buy a stolen item! Is it?! Saving almost 100 dollars justified it to me >>

No. I would not have done it. And it's the sort of thing that parents try to teach their children not to do... or even consider doing.

It's disturbing that you would do that and post here like that would be a normal thing to do. Like you feel that's on par with asking whether you should have gotten the 8 GB or the 16 GB Touch. You're an accessory -- and not a good kind. Proud?

Ya this is bad man, and you could be arrested for it. It disturbs me that you speak so casually about it. You asked is it wrong, yes. You say $100 justifies it? Would you kick a cat for $100 as well? I hope that one day you realize just how wrong you are.

So...... I see this old lady walking down the street with an ipod touch. And I think to myself.....hmm does she really need it? I could save myself $400. Hmmm, all i have to do is trip her and run. What do you guys think?

This is definately illegal. I do not care what you do on your own time just do not post things like this here. I am only trying to save you from getting into trouble. I would delete your post if I were you.
