Hey i was just wondering what would happen if someone put an ipod touch or iphone on ebay with 2.0 beta installed on it . would they get hunted down by Steve Jobs and sued . etc.

Not exactly the SMARTEST thing to ask. But yes, they would get into trouble.

Actually they probably would not get in trouble. Apple has better things to deal with.
But the person should not blame me if they do get in trouble.

I imagine it wouldn't sell particularly well; IMO the only people who would be interested in buying an iPod/iPhone with 2.0 installed would be perfectly capable of downloading the Pwnage tool and a copy of said firmware, and installing it themselves, and I'd imagine they'd be very willing to considering the amount of money they'd save. Besides, people interested in the firmware would probably already own an iPod!
