When browsing through the forums as a new member, I noticed that many many older ways of Jailbreaking the iPod Touch are still around in certain older posts. This kind of makes finding valid information hard for the most reliable and up to date versions. I'm just suggesting that someone could maybe come up with a list of the most reliable, secure ways of Jailbreaking and installing apps on both Windows and Macs respectively.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

I know, but like methods of jailbreaking seem to come in more than one form.

iJailbreak seems to be the most current and up to date for Mac if I'm correct?

I was thinking the same.

No doubt there will be an update from Apple in the near future, and I guess it'll either cause or require that the Ipod is re-jailed.

I used a combination of the early posts to do mine, and it was a pain in the butt. I'm certain better ways have been created, so I'd certainly like to be able to find the 'state of the art' jailbreak.

On the other hand, I guess the update from Apple will probably require a new exploit anyway . . .
