The controls are incredibly intuitive. Drag the piece in any direction around with your finger and tap to rotate. This game looks amazing. Everything about the interface makes this game look incredible from the menu screen to gameplay itself, and pieces drop smoothly.

You can find the game in Installer if you have Community Sources or you can manually install it by downloading it here (http://outgoing.ipodtouchfans.com/?d=aHR0cDovL2NvZGUuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS9wL3RyaXMv).

Why are there like 7 blocks coming down at once? Is that just a random picture?

Yeah, I don't mean to be a troll, but I've been playing this for quite a while. Definitely agree, though, it's the best Tetris game out there.

You can move it up only if you have moved it down faster than it naturally falls.

Well I read your edited part and I still don't know why it's on the frontpage. Since I joined this forum (4-5 months now) one thing I clearly noticed from the staff was the effort to make people search for what they want, before anything. So, when you create a thread about a game like 2 months old you'r doing the job for the lazy guy who doesn't even know what he wants. The thread may be a good iniciative indeed but I think it's against the forum "flow".

By the way, I think this "too-old-game" has gone far enough for me, I just wanted to point out my real opinion.

I suck at it, my highest was 21,xxx.....twenty one thousand something
I played for about 7 minutes..

I got up to 120,000, I beleive. I just sort of zoned out and kept playing and didn't notice my score until I finally failed.

For you complainers, e.g. "WTF THIS BEEN OUT 4EVAR": I'm simply reposting this in the correct section to inform people who have not played this game before, which I'm sure is the majority of the guests that visit this site. I also created this topic to add to this new Game releases section that only has a few topics. So please do not complain, for there is really no good reason to do so. And don't bother BGizzle for posting this on the front page because I'm sure his reasoning was the same as mine.

I just noticed that people have been giving me negative reputation points because of my topic, saying stuff like "STFU YOU NOOB! This game was out long time ago!" and "get a hold of yourself, man". That's pretty ridiculous, and I surely hope you grow out of your immaturity.

Anyway, for those of you who have never heard of or played this game before.

theres a flaw in the game. There isnt time for you to move the blocks when it lands on another BLOCK. However, theres time for you to move the blocks right before it touches the ground. this really brings my piss to a boil.

:) It gets tough when the speed gets up there. No matter how good the controls are, it's still a touch pad.

Nice, Bret. That's definitely something to work for. Tris and iSolitaire are the two games I play.

I´ve installed this a long time ago but it´s indeed the best Tetris game avaible on the iPod Touch, because the control is really easy and cool, even better than the original Tetris on GameBoy

When I DL this app. onto my computer, how do I install it onto my iPod Touch?
I realize that I can get it through installer, but I've failed time and time again to install it using SSH. Anyhelp?

When you jailbreak your iPod, it should install Installer.app
If doesn't then you should try re-jailbreaking or checking your firmware. Current firmware is 1.1.4
If you don't know how to Jailbreak your iPod, go to the Guide in the 1.1.4 jailbreak:

You can only make the pieces go up if you have pulled them down faster than they naturally fall themselves.

Great app, but just a little bug if nobody's already mentioned it:

When you've got a Game Over and entered in your high score, it will show you the scores, then you can tap and go back to the menu. But after you're back on the menu, you can still press the Menu button in the bottom right; this will take you back into the last game and let you get another high score...
