windows:
put the cd in your drive
right click the cd icon under my computer
and click something like make image

or just download the iso from ubuntu.com

If you have slow internet connection, rip it, if not, just download it from the web.
But I just right click on the icon >explore> look for the iso and save it to your desktop and burn it to another one...or use a program for duplicating cd's.

I can't find anything with "make image". I don't wish to dowload the .iso. Do I need special software?

I'm surfing the CD but I can't find any iso file, I just see many different files.

The best tool for this is LC ISO Creator.

Its specifically designed for this task, and has only one button LOL
