i dunno if anybodys come across this yet but i was reading this morning and found this. These are sopposedly leaked pictures of the new Iphone 3g taken at the production plant in Taiwan or some shit. Thought yall might be interested.

im not sure about this one, to be honest it wouldnt be that hard to make a fake with a bit of metal plastic and glass.

the one to the right could just as well be a modified ipot

Anyway, I'd say that's more of a knock off or copy. I've seen some pics of a "apple looking" phone like that though. Maybe it was Teslanaut's thread or another forum, or a google search.

If a phone has 3g, it doesn't literally mean it has 3rd generation. It means it possesses qualities that are in line with the 3rd generation of mobile technology. This includes faster data speeds and things of that nature. You can check Wikipedia for more information.

3G is also the name of the standards (relating to data and voice speed) used today for phones. it doesnt really mean anything in terms of generations now

Eww, I hate it, I hate the gloss everything. I think it looks more asian then european, because of the glossy white back. I think Apple should keep it the same :( my personal oponion, because they said it's their greatest creation, and I don't think they should change that even though it's a different version; highly improved. I hope this is fake! Don't like the home button either :(

Uhm, btw, Apple is located world wide, theres one in Toronto I think, Tokyo, everywhere, it's not just the states. I think what you mean is that, the decision is made in California, but essembled in China

well first. i think that kind of looks just like a case but if it isnt, then ya thats super awesome. black and white iPHONES! next is like black white and red iPOD TOUCHESSS FTW!!! XD

I think this "iPhone" is garbage. Although nice attempt.

The whole thing (white back, boxy front) is very asian-style rip-off. I like the iPhone and especially iPod Touch better. The silver on the back of the iPod Touch is nice but you need a case for it.

But things often get manufactured in other places like Taiwan because the production price is a lot lower then if we were to produce all those products here.

i like the front, the screen looks larger, more bolder and the home button is glassed off like the rest of the phone, rather then sectioned off, like the 1st gen.

The back is the sure give away.. Rounded Back?! Seriously who's the brilliant mind behind that? Could you imagine that phone on a flat surface: it'd be rocking! An 'innovation' even Apple would rather be without.

June 9th is about a week away. Hold your breathe :)
