Will you switch to Safari 3.0.3 (For Windows and mac :))?

Im using firefox which is way faster than internet explorer but I might change To Safari 3 based on the statistics.

Statistics from apple:
Blazing performance.

The fastest web browser on any platform, Safari loads pages up to 2 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2.

And it executes JavaScript up to 2.8 times faster than Internet Explorer 7 and up to 1.6 times faster than Firefox 2.

What does all that mean for you? Less time loading pages and more time enjoying them.

And a list of what it promises:

1. Blazing Performance2x Faster

Safari is the fastest web browser on any platform.
2. Elegant User Interface

Safari’s clean look lets you focus on the web — not your browser.
3. Easy Bookmarks

Organize your bookmarks just like you organize music in iTunes.
4. Pop-up Blocking

Say goodbye to annoying pop-up ads and pop-under windows.
5. Inline Find

Search any text on any website with the integrated Find banner.
6. Tabbed BrowsingTabs

Open and switch between multiple web pages in a single window.
7. SnapBackSnapback

Instantly snap back to search results or the top level of a website.
8. Forms AutoFill

Let Safari complete online forms for you, automatically and securely.
9. RSSBuilt-in RSS

RSS tells you when new content is added to your favorite sites.
10. Resizable Text Fields

Resize text fields on any website: Just grab the corner and drag.
11. Private Browsing

Keep your online activities private with a single click.
12. SecuritySecurity

Apple engineers designed Safari to be secure from day one.

And Coming Soon:

* Support for International users
* International text input methods
* Advanced text (contextual forms, international scripts)
* Localized menus and help
* NTLM support
* PAC file auto-detection
* FTP directory listings
* Link to proxy settings from Safari (Safari respects the proxy settings in the Windows Internet control panel)
* Cookie management
* LiveConnect support
* Tooltips
* Spell checking
* Printing page numbers, titles, margins

Safari has been on Windows for ages... Dunno about this new version but whatever, hah.

Ofcourse Apple are going to blow their own trumpet on "statistics", they want people to use their software.

I'll stick to FireFox.

I always used Firefox, but just switched to the new Safari when I got Leopard... It's definitely every bit as fast as Firefox...but...stll, I just don't like it as much. For one thing, it runs into a lot more file download problems (won;t download a file, when firefox will) and the user interface just isn't as nice. That said, it does things that Firefox doesn't: like open pdf documents internally, for one (which I like a lot). Anyway, I'm going to give it a few more weeks...

I have always used Firefox for going on some forums that I go to, but I mainly use IE7 and Safari for my browsing needs these days... So I vote yes.

if you like safari: use Firefox witha safari theme
if you like IE7: use Firefor with a IE7 theme (i even went farther to changing the icon of Firefox to the IE7 one+Theme+Name change)

I've had Safari on my PC for a while now... not all that thrilled with it. Seems much slower than FF, 'course I've tweaked FF a bit to make it faster, though. There is also no Safari support for a few things I use often, such as RoboForm. I for one am not likely to 'swith' to Safari any time soon.

I use Safari on my Mac.
I'm used to it though, so I dont want to change.
I use Opera sometimes, to view peoples MySpace's that don't work on Safari.
+Safari is a great porn browser :p

Definitely Firefox cause I depend heavily on lots of extensions and also I cannot live without the tab switching by Apple+(num)... in Safari, that takes you to your corresponding shortcuts in the Bookmarks Bar :rolleyes:
