I just posted about this on another thread but will make it short and sweet. I got a PSP because my touch has no physical buttons. End of story unless this thing is a good price.

Devs should find this controller easy to develop for. It's led by a team of people known for their work in homebrew gaming hardware. It will have a freely available, simple API available to all developers. It will support any application that chooses to use the API.

Holy Fazolis! Another thing I'm likely not going to be able to buy... Awesome though! Fantastic job.
I heard a guy working on this on IRC, didn't know he'd pull it through. :)

Meh... I'll believe it when I see it. As for getting it... : shrugs: I already carry enough crap around as it is.
My question is, what games will there be for this thing.

It's being worked on by the same team developing the Pandora gaming hardware ( http://www.openpandora.org ) featured on sites such as Engadget. It's already been developed, the software is made. It needs to still go into mass production though.
So there's no worries of if it will come. It's coming!
As for games, all my emulators (gpSPhone, snes4iphone, psx4iphone, genesis4iphone, gameboy4iphone, etc...) will support it. So in total, you'll have the support of over 10,000+ games.

A very brilliant idea, in concept.
Realistically though, where will they get the money to manufacture these things?
That's not to say that some people will want them, but...

I think people are missing the point here...It's already made and it is being mass produced by the same team working on the Pandora next gen gaming handheld I have in my hands as we speak. They have the capability to get this out and quickly. :)
wait, what did you say about a next gen gaming handheld......?
anyway, this will make the emulators more worth while, I just couldn't get the hang of touch screen controls......:(
