I was wondering if i could just go to the Apple store by the iPhone. Plug it into the computer ziphone it then put in a T Mobile pre paid SIM.

Will ziphone activate it etc? Explain please

yes it will. in ziphone you have the option to unlock the baseband(to allow other sim cards) and to bypass the activation screen.
