Will we be able to get the new 2.0 features (AppStore, Etc..) through a Jailbreak? Like we got all the iphone apps in 1.1.3 and 1.1.4 through Ziphone.

There is no jailbreak for 2.0 yet and the 1.1.x apps do not work on the 2.0 frameworks.

As JPGA13 said.

So far, there isn't a real stable Jailbreak for 2.0.
Also (as stated once again), the Mail, Notes, Maps, etc., do not work with 2.0.
As he said, they are meant to operate on whatever... 1.1.x.

So not even those will work with 2.0, but obviously Apple is re-writing these to work with the newer frameworks in the iPhone/Touch.

Basically, there is really no way to find out yet.
We'd have to wait until about a week or three after 2.0 is Officially released until we can really do or determine anything.

you can't put appstore on 1.1.4 becuase the frameworks are different, you probably won't get any of the features

Thats not what he is asking... he is asking if when 2.0 does come out, will their be a way to get the apps with out buying them. Like with the jan app pack where when you jailbreak you can get them for free but like Bubalooshi said we dont know if its that easy because apple will most definetly change up how it works.

No, you will not be able to get the App Store applications through jailbreaking on Firmware 1.1.3/1.1.4 because the application will be developed around the frameworks of Firmware 2.0, which is completely rewritten in comparison to Firmware 1.1.3/1.1.4. This isn't like the January App Pack, because the application is written differently.

You'll have to upgrade to Firmware 2.0 for $9.95, at which point you will have the App Store, and proceed with installing the applications officially. Take note that a speculated 71% of applications in the App Store will be free anyways, so there is really no need to get them through jailbreak if was even possible, as it's not like paying $20 for the January App Pack.

what about the january app pack, like if you havent paid for that, but you buy the 2.0 firmware, do they exclude the january apps or they they give you them with 2.0?

I don't believe January App Pack is included with the Firmware 2.0 update.
