It appears that the new 3g iPhone won't fit in the old iPhone dock. There is an article Here (http://www.iphoneatlas.com/2008/06/16/old-iphone-docks-will-not-fit-the-iphone-3g/)

It also says the dual dock won't fit either in one of the comments. The one that charges the blue tooth ear piece.

I have the old iPhone dock, and now I'll have to go and buy a NEW one at around £49. That's pants!

And anyone who watched the keynote or saw a picture of it on Apple's website knows that it is thinner on the top and bottom, making it incompatible with previous docks.

got mine for free with the iphone which i paid 170 pounds for :)

I also have a docking "station", but that comes with like 12 different bits that slot in. It's my guess that one of those will fit without a problem. If you have attachments that fit into a bigger opening, then maybe you won't have a problem either.
