So i'm predicting this will be released in 2050 or later... actually more like 3000...

Ok so dont you hate waiting for something to cook, i know i do!
So image, and prepare, for this.

A time traveling oven.

Let me explain. Instead of putting say your pizza into the oven and setting it to cook for 20 minutes, you just turn it on then send the contents 20 minute into the future. Basically an instant cooker.

I know this is a longshot but man it would be cool eh?
Think of the possibilities for the fast food companies haha.

Anyway just give your comments, criticism, or suggestions, all positive, to somewhat positive are welcome.

P.S. why is there only 3 threads in the section... thats kinda depressing.

Don't forget the flux capacitor.;)

And lots of plutonium.

Lol, only three threads.

That would be uber cool, but the problem is... does it send a food FROM the future, after it is done cooking, or does it just swap the pizza out in mid timetravel, making your future self get pissed off that the oven is broken, and making uncooked pizza?

Send this post to Sony, those Japanese can do wonders

It'll come back with an Ultra Blu-Ray Player, a QT6 (gaming system), Built-in Camera, a computer, and more in addition to the time travel!

btw, it'll be here by 2012, they're crazy good!

So it's like a hyperbolic time chamber for food?

BRILLIANT!

Haha you guys are great, that why i love this website. It more like a time warp inside the oven. And yeah it deffinatly needs a blu-ray player otherwise its not worth it.

If it is here by 2012, then we are f***ed... Thats the year the world ends...

OMG! Unless.. we go back in time in our supa ovens!

But then you would be all toasty... or well cooked. you might have to change the settings to defrost and only preheat to like 100 degrees.

i got a better idea....

a reverse microwave. instead of heating things up wicked fast, it cools them wicked fast. here's a scenario where it's perfect:

"oh man, i forgot to put that 6 pack in the fridge, and i want a cold one. oh wait, let me put it in my reverse microwave for an ice cold beverage!".

this is definitely much more realistic than a time traveling oven...

I still like my toilet bowl grinder idea instead... No more clogs. xD

well can you ride in the oven also? instead of cooking it at 350 for 20 minutes why not just put it at 7000degrees for like 1 minute lol if your pizza goes into the future wouldnt you have two pizzas cept yourself would probably already be eating one of them.

lol, If I thought it was a good idea I'd run with it, but unfortunately it's more novel than it is practical.

Yea, this one will come out sometime...but I doubt it will be a microwave...just a small, heavily insulated box that can create near absolute temperature in a matter of seconds.

It could use liquid nitrogen or dry ice.

the future.

and the super refrigerator probably won't use liquid nitrogen or dry ice since those require contact to make something cold. You would want to super cool the air around it instead of contact because contact would create more uneven cooling, i.e. frozen outside with somewhat cold inside. I've thought about this. lol

this is what you do, create a mini atmosphere within your microwave, then pollute it with hairspray which will cause global warming "microwave warming", this new global warming will cause an ice age, which you can use to freeze your beverages.
