Woah, you talk more sense than... well i don't know what. The title of this thread is "favourite actress" not hottest actress. I completely agree.

Out of the list there is no doubt that Charlize Theron is the best actress. Watch Monster (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0340855/). One of the best female performances of all time.

In my opinion Scarlett Johansson is the best looking. She isn't disgustingly thin, she can handle herself well as an actress and has picked some great roles (Ghost World, Lost In Translation, The Prestige) and she has class.

Natalie Portman is a great actress also, and has been in some great movies. She's probably the sweetest and most intelligent and in my opinion one of the best looking alongside Scarlett.

But the poll is too vague. As a list of actress talent, it is terrible. Jessica Alba is going to get votes because people think she's hot but she is hardly a great actress. I'll assume then, that it is a list of modern Hollywood beauties in which case my vote goes to Scarlett Johansson.
