edit: you do need to upgrade to atleast the latest beta version of 2.0 and have iTunes version 7.7 . but atleast you can see what apps there are. try it on your computer too

no its not. its the real deal. you can watch it open to iTunes. press back and all the songs. I couldn't have done this. my computer is broken and I found a article about it. its officially coming out tonight. the 2.0 not the appstore.

i still have the files though, but i have no idea how to ssh it on there and make the app WORK

it is the real thing. the only problem is . to have it working. you have to have the 2.0 firmware. not yet released the final version. and iTunes 7.7 then the link works perfectly and you can download on computer and itouch
btw. I believe it works with the newer beta versions of 2.0 if you can find them. not telling you where.
