AOL Radio gives you many genres to choose from and gives you some recommendations. I would think that just about everyone could find a music channel they like.

Favorites
You can mark down stations or songs as favorites so you don't have to look through the genres to find the station. Marking down the songs is kind of pointless though, all it does is give you the options to buy it on iTunes or on AOL.

Recently Played songs
This screen will track the songs that have been playing. It is useful if you really like the song but couldn't get to your iPod to see what was playing. Then if you click on it it gives you the option to buy on iTunes or AOL.

Local Stations
This allows you to find stations in your area (with GPS or by choosing a city) and listen to some that broadcast over the internet. A very useful feature. Almost makes up for the iPod not having an FM radio.

Now Playing Screen
I really like how this screen looks. It goes with the sleekness of the iPod/iPhone. It gives you the song info and album art.

Purchasing
This is the screen that you can get when you choose to buy the song. It gives you the option to buy it on iTunes or AOL.

Has a few issues like not being able to run in the background (stupid apple) and sometimes when you open it your iPod will just reboot. Other than that it is a great app. Would recommend for all.

This is ATM the best app to me right now. I'm loving it. I used to be a great Mariah Carey's fan and guess what? There is an "All Mariah Carey" radio station and I just cant stop listening. :D And there is a tons of other cool radio stations to all tastes. I didn't tried others radio apps from the store, but this one is rocking the house. I give it a 5/5.:)

You hold down the home and power button, and its saves it to your Pictures folder.

If it is, i'll be surprised:eek: But, as long as I know, the answer is no. Why dont you upgrade to 2.0? Its worthy and the app is free. And its pretty cool to have it in your Ipot.

No, but there is a "Classic Punk". Its says: "Early UK and USA anarchy for a riot of your own..." (cant read the rest of the description). And theres a radio named "Punk U" that covers the new school of punk rock. There is also an "All Clash", if you like punk I dont have to describe this one :D Does it helps you? I have a 1.1.4 Jailbroken iPod touch using ZiPhone's method, and I really need this so I can listen to my favorite NYC stations. Is it possible for me to download this and if its not whats a similar alternate, if there is one. Thnx

this is a great review but an even better app

I personally love this app. Very handy. However, like many, I do wish that they would update it so it could be played in the background. But great for a free app. I use this plus Pandora Radio, the combination is awesome!
