I saw the first showing at my local theater! :))) sooo... amazing... and creepy... *WHY SSSO....SERIOUS? LETS PUT A SMILE ON THAT FACE!*

I'm pretty sure two face is dead.... yeah... he's dead. :( but joker is still alive! (just needs a new actor) and... many other villans will be around.

In Australia it was out on Wednesday, I saw it that day with my friends. It was awesome.

Just got back from watching it, amazing movie.

The Dark Knight was great. It's sad that now the Joker they may use later on just won't be the same...:(

It actually surprised me that they killed off Harvey (Two Face) so quickly. I was expecting to see him in the next one.

And killing Rachel was the best move they could have made. Katie Holmes did a terrible job and Maggie Gyllenhaal didn't do much better.

This was an amazing movie. Though a bit long, 2 hours and 30 minutes but it didn't feel like it from my eyes bu my bladder sure did. :( Anyways, the big big success to this movie was the Joker and Health Ledger played an amazing role. I don't give a lot to these actors but Heath played the Joker great. If you didn't know Heath lived in a hotel/apartment for a month alone and kept a diary before filming to get into the role. Gotham has a good hate/love relationship with Batman. I'm pretty sure Two Faced will be back next movie as they gave no other intro to another villain, unless the Joker returns which is very unlikely due to they won't have another amazing performance such as Heath did. Glad that chick blew up, didn't seem like a very interesting role. The ending was pretty fast in my opinion and I didn't understand some stuff. Though my bladder was exploding and I couldn't concentrate.

All in all, this is the Summer movie of 2008 or the movie of the year in some cases.

I saw a 20 minute preview of it when I saw I am ledgend. Now I'm gunna c it this weekend in Imax down in Atlantic city. That's only like a 30 minute drive :p

I haven't seen it yet. I went to see it at the theater that's down the street from where I live and it was completely sold out. :( Hopefully I can see it next week.

i think your right it was almost like something took him over it was wierd because he even said that he was having trouble getting out of character and it was giving him panic attacks at night

Wrong. He was taking drugs for another movie. he was filming another movie and he was taking drugs to get into character, and that drug messed with his sleeping pills.

the dark night is the best movie ive seen in a loooong time. i dont know what else ive seen thats better..but i know the pineapple express will be at least 3x better then this!

I went to see it on Wed the 12:30am showing. I had to see it. I was dying to see it. It was definitely worth sleeping 1 hour before I had to go to work. I agree the heath was brilliant in that role. Its sad that he'll get an award and won't be there. He'll be missed. I think this Batman series is the all time best. The others in the past? too kiddish, but good. I think the next villian? Hopefully the Mad Hatter, Riddler, no Mr. Freeze. I just can't see someone being frozen.

I just saw it on Sunday, and yeah, it was fantastic! There was some article in the newspaper about people wanting "Dark Knight" to be rated R for all the violence...:rolleyes:

Don't worry too much about Robin, though. Christian Bale said that if they ever wanted to introduce a sidekick for him (Robin), that he'd "hang up his cape". I agree, this "new" Batman doesn't need a sidekick. He kicks enough ass by himself! ;)

The Dark Knight is incredible.

From a plot perspective it's great, this film (and i don't know why i'm comparing it) surpasses any superhero film you've ever seen *cough* spiderman. This film is itself. Had the Joker not been performed so brilliantly by keith the movie may have lacked a certain feel, but the movie with this awsome acting ability kept me gripped towards the end of the film, and that's a hard thing to do when you're packed in a hot cinema with a bunch of strangers chewing their nachos a little two loudly.

This year no movies have been spectacular, until this film showed up. I'm more of a fan of comedy genres but i do like a compelling serious story and this film hit the spot. Am i being to quick to judge? Possibly. But all other "serious" films this year have a unique plot point e.g. cloverfield, hancock, wanted etc (could be rubbish or could be good because i've not seen them).

This is a superhero film. The movie tries to tell that story from a unique perspective. I was a bit of a fanboy of all superhero characters, my favourite would probably have been one of the x-men until you showed me this. Like i said, this surpassed spiderman on a level you can't even imagine. Brilliantly dark, yet i still felt like Batman was a good guy through the whole film.


Basically, if you have £5 in your wallet and are thinking of spending that on something other than watching The Dark Knight you sir are an ibecile.

This film was a joy for me to watch because i went with my friends and we know alot about movies. We are almost nerd-like movie goers. All of my friends were awed by this movie.

i saw it at midnight opening day the film burnt out twice:mad: but i still got to see the whole movie and i got a free movie ticket :D:p i loved this movie but in my opinion ironman was barely better

true that. Batman and Iron Man really appealed to people because in a way, because they're human, anyone can be a superhero like them. The Dark Knight was better though IMO, it was just deeper, with more themes etc... Iron Man was more of a cool action movie.

i liked both the dark knight and iron man. both great movies.
