Apple has long been renowned for it's ability to take everyday devices such as laptops and iPods and make them better by changing the things one may not normally look at or even notice.

I have a feeling they will be releasing a revolutionary device, called the iToilet

Instead of the usually flush noise that is loud and disturbing, Apple will be releasing a toilet that emits songs instead of flushing noise. The toilet will come prepackaged with one free song (provided you pick up a Starbucks discount card), a 80 GB hard drive, touch sensitive flush handle and one of the most up-to-date UI's seen on any mp3 playing toilet. The interface will be user friendly, with the screen being projected directly onto the surface of the water. Using ultrasonic sensors, the toilet's computer will recognize and compensate for any protrusions from the surface of the water, rendering the image crystal clear, even in the most dire situations.

Tech Specs

80 Gig HD
Mp3, AAC, Protected AAC, MP4, and AVI (YES AVI!) support
1080p Water Reflected Projection (WRP) screen
Touch Sensitive flush handle
Playlist and Randomization support
Visualizer
Free Starbucks Coffee*

*For a limited time Sept 9-27

They will probably release new nanos, touch or shuffle. But i hope they don't release a new touch beacuse i'm not ready to give up mine unless the new touch is cheaper.

You beat me to it, but it's really called the iCrap, and I think they'll be a 160GB model for those, ahem, "excessive" stays in the bathroom. (you can think what you want with that, haha)

But seriously now, I expect revamped iPods, better battery life, new iPod touch casing, and maybe some new earphones cause the ones that come with iPods are terrible.

Rumors right now are saying that they won't be announcing their mac updates until a later date. Although it is still believed that they will announce the new lineup of macintosh computers sometimes this year (which will update the iMac, Mac Pro, Mac Mini, and Macbook).

Seems like tomorrow is going to be purely dedicated to the iPod updates, i mean, just the name "Let's Rock" kinda gives it away.

Nano:

8 Gig=$100
16 gig=$150

Now in 9 colors, design will be the taller, 2nd gen look we've seen.

Touch:

8 gig: $200
16 gig: $300
32 gig: $400

Slightly thicker means extra battery life, 7 hours video, 30 hours audio

Of course, 3G case and external volume as has been said previously.

We do know that Apple is calling this a big deal, and this is designated as 2nd gen Touch, not refreshed touch, like Ipod 5.5 g.

Since memory isn't going up and all they are doing is adding external volume control and a 3g case, hardware must be added to be worthy of "2nd gen" designator.

This hardware will be a camera, probably 3 Mega pixel.

If Jobs really wants to blow us away he will also include blue tooth and GPS which would put the touch deep into star trek tech territory, (Jobs has said he wants to bring us star trek like tech, meaning Trichorder like devices which can be used for almost anything, a wifi device/gps/,media player/camera with apps like "flash light", various reference apps and conversion calculators would fit that bill).

What ever happens I have faith in the prophet of the tech gods that we shall be pleased with today's revelation.

I will be purchasing a 2nd gen touch this Friday, (rumors are they will be available immediately) put it into a speck armor case and then cherish it until I move up to a 5th gen Iphone, (which will have wimax and voice recognition that lets you ask it a question and it will search out the answer through google and tell you:)

All Hail Steve Jobs and his wonderful Ipods. May he live 50 more years and continue to enrich all our lives.

Those prices are the worst predictions ever made. 150 bucks for a touch? $80 for a classic? You are crazy. Get real dude. And why would they put less storage on a classic? 32gb - 64gb and 120gb only? THEY'LL GO HIGHER. DUHGo to a doctors.

I like your pricing perspective, but again, why would an iPod have a better camera than an iPhone? Thats stupider than WIndows ME
