I just jailbroke for themes and emulators really, two things that this new one will not have in its stock firmware :(

lol yea i'd agree.... love how they make it $229 so if you want to buy it you can justify in your mind like well its only $30 more than $200, i guess it's not that big of a deal...meanwhile apple's like YES squeezed $30 out of those suckers who expected it to bee 200 bucks :p

jailbreak was only necessary for the 1.1.x firmwares.
app store is making it obsolete...EXCEPT stuff like emulators and whatnot
