so ive recently switched from an ipod touch to a 3g iphone and just wanted to know what case you guys would recomend, i had a silicon like one for the touch and found it still left lots of marks on the back so im looking for one that will be more friendly to my iphone
also i was reading a few articles on 2.1 JB and it seems to be very fiddly. just wondered if anyone has done it yet and were there many/any problems

I have an Incipio gel which is good, and I also have the Incase Slider for the iPhone 3g. I use the incase slider everyday. I dropped my iphone the other day at work on a hard tile floor, and I know it would have screwed the phone up bad, but the incase took it like a champ and didn't even crack. I'm very happy with it. It was 35 from their website. It also leaves no marks on the phone either.

Incase Slider is an extremely strange case, some iPhone's (like my freinds) easily slide in and out perfectly, while many other iPhone (2 of mine and a couple others i know) fit in there barely barely and get scuffed up. And yes all of these are iphone 3gs

I recommend the Capsule Rebel from Switcheasy or the Griffin Wave case from Griffin, the Incase slider is good from what i've see/heard, apart from the Conqueror's of course;)

I've tried the invisibleshield... but it pissed the crap outta me because the film started discoloring due to my jean pockets... and i also have the iclear and the wave case... both are pretty good but right now i prefer the iclear so i can show that my phone is a 16gb white :D

I would recommend you sport grip case or griffin flexgrip but over all my favourite is leather case.
