I have an idea to setup a local network server to stream my music from my computer through router to my ipod touch. I wonder if that idea is working or not...and anyone know which software should i use to create a simple server?

I tried to use MyTunes RSS to creat a itunes playlist server. But that only show up all playlist i have in my computer but can't play the song...(quicktime in safari can't play...not supported?)

That's a real good software which enable you to play music anywhere through internet connection and LAN. It works perfectly with comupters but not ipod touch...

Can any brother try to work that out for ipod touch?

Its quite straight forward if you are using a Mac -- OSX has an in-built web server
