I don't understand that argument. (Yes, I know that salaries in baseball are obscene, but that's a flaw of MLB, not the Yankees).

The reason the Yankees have all that money, is that they are the most successful team in baseball (that's a fact, not an opinion -- 26 world championships).

Maybe because their payroll is like 10 times higher than other teams. They buy their world series titles. Their whole team is a bunch of sellouts. They have players that used PERFORMANCE ENHANCING drugs. They have fake fans.

u have a point but they have spent around 1.1 billion dollars on player contracts since their last championship, not 2 mention another billion on a new stadium does any one team really need 2 spend that much money?
