My daughter has an itouch and when we plug it in to itunes and view the summary, it shows a lot of memory being used up under "other". What is that? All she has stored on there are some songs, and some photos. We took out the TV shows, but "other" still takes about 3gb. I am at a lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say no since she nor i know what that is. Almost all her memory is being taken up by this "other" and I can't find what it could be or where its located.

Try restoring via DFU mode.
