difference between ipod touch and iphone 3gs stylus?

I bought a stylus on ebay that sais it's for iphone 3gs. I was just wondering, will it also work on ipod touch? I heard the screens are different? But isn't the touch screen technology stil the same?

It'll work on an iPod touch. It'll work on any capacitive touchscreen device.

If it works on the 3GS, it should work on the iPod touch.

They have the same touch screen (except the 3GS has an Oleophobic screen, but that doesn't matter)
