Help regarding broken home button!

My ipod touch 16 gig home button is stuck and has to be pressed hard to work.I am out of warranty so when i went to app retail store they told me to pay around 9200 INR(around 199$) for a replacement and i decided to use it until i came across a site claiming to sell ipod touch home button,screens ,etc.So is it possible to actually do the replacement or is it better to get a new one?...Pls help asap..This is my first post so please forgive if any mistake...

Around that price, you might as well just get a new one... Idk wish i could get help with my problem -_-
but yeah.. You'd be better of just going for the 3rd gen ipod.
