That happened to mine, I just re4stored it from iTunes and rejailbrojke with blackra1n RC2.
You can also use RC3 on the itouch.

i recently purchased a 3rg Gen iPod touch (32 gb) and i'm running the 3.1.2 firmwear. I've tried using blackra1n and everything goes fine, the image of GeoHot appears on my device and then it says i need to connect it to iTunes and blackra1n isn't on my device. can anyone help me or does anyone have any suggestions?

Studangerous you really need to elaborate more in your front paged threads...They're extremely uninformative and all they say is go here and download this. There is no new features mentioned in the post which is quite stressing and causes tons of the posts (see above) to ask lots of questions.

What features.. it jailbreaks iPhone 2G, 3G, 3GS, iPod Touch 1G, 2G, 3G. iPod Touch 3G jailbreak is tethered. blacksn0w unlocks 3.1.2. What other features are you talking about..? There's one button, everything is straight forward. The above posts are mostly about people having problems jailbreaking, not wondering what it does.
