Hi,
I have an iPod Touch 2G, running 3.1.2 and I think there's a problem with the screen. I got it out of my pocket today, and the screen was completely white. It was jailbroken, but when I got home I tried to restore it, so it's not jailbroken anymore. Suffice to say, I don't think it's the "white screen of death" I think there may be a problem with the screen. I can press the power button at the top of the iPod and the screen turns completely white, but when I press it again, it turns black. Just like when you press the power button to lock/unlock the iPod. I read somewhere about a ribbon being removed? I can't recall it exactly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And yes, my iPod is out of warrenty.
