Default The time keeps changing.......

I did search the forums and didn't find anything I thought could help.

At 4:30pm today it said 3:00am the day before. What causes this and how can I fix it?

Is your computer's time correct? I believe it syncs the times when you sync it.

Thumbs down I'm glad I'm not the only one

My time is constantly off; so much so that I won't use the touch for an alarm...it's too unreliable. Yesterday, it said it was June 25th, 2005 and the time was hours and minutes off. Yes, my computer time is correct. I am running Vista. My Touch is 1.1.3, but I noticed this problem before. However, it is MUCH more pronounced now.

After correcting the time last night, it was exactly an hour off this morning; sounds like the timezone issue others have noted on this forum. Didn't have time to check it closely this AM.

Anyone have any ideas on what's going on?

Thanks

My touch does the same thing... time and date are constantly changing. But I notice it only changes when I turn it on after being off or just inactive for a while. When at work all day with it on the time and date stays correct (after I change it from being wrong when I turned it on initially).
One person I read about suggested maybe it was from being plugged into your computer and then hibernating. I notice mine messes up then too.
Unbelievable that this damn thing cant even get the date and time right.

Are all of you leaving itunes open when your computer hibernates? For some reason, if you leave it open, "wake" up your computer and sync, it'll mess up the time and date. To get around the problem, you'll have to restart itunes after your computer wakes up and then sync your touch. Hope that helps.

Well, I tried this last night and it appears to have made a difference. My Touch kept the right time overnight. I'll let you know if it holds for another day...is this documented elseplace? I couldn't find it.
Thanks akirasport...joefish, have you tried it?
