The only way that I know of to do it requires a jailbroken device . Which on this forum, most likely not an issue. But we get a lot of non-jbs who frequent the site as well, who can't back up their stuff. I think this is more of an issue of Apple's than mine.

S1G, even on a JB device, ive tried copying the entire stanza folder (books seem to be in numbered folders o, 1 , 2 etc) but when copying them back after an update they wouldnt display. unless i did something wrong. if someone could crack this im sure it would be a help to the bandwidth of your site.

The only way I found to do it, was to copy the entire program's folder and back it up that way. I think it has to do with Stanza writing each to a database file, so just backing up the books isn't enough. But the last time I tried this method, I was unable to download new books upon restoring the backup. I could only view the books I downloaded. That was a long time ago though and perhaps this issue has been fixed.
