Please send me a PM if you feel something should be added/removed/changed.
  • Is Firmware 1.1.5 released?
Yes. Download or it is available through iTunes as a firmware update for iPod touch.

  • What is the size of the Firmware 1.1.5 update?
    165MB.
  • How much does Firmware 1.1.5 cost?
Firmware 1.1.5 is available for free.
  • Can you jailbreak Firmware 1.1.5?
ZiPhone can be used to jailbreak Firmware 1.1.5. WinPwn will not be able to jailbreak Firmware 1.1.5 as of now because there is no patch to make WinPwn compatible with Firmware 1.1.5. No word yet on whether or not iLiberty+ method of jailbreaking is successful on Firmware 1.1.5.
  • Why did Apple release Firmware 1.1.5? (These are all early reports, unofficial.)
    • Faster speeds and improved stability.
    • Security updates.
    • Apple's "fix" for obtaining Firmware 2.0 for free.
    • Compatibility with iTunes 7.7.
  • Are all applications compatible with Firmware 1.1.5?
SummerBoard and Customize applications are not currently functioning. Wiggle function and Mail application are also not working, although using FWChanger to act like the iPod touch is running Firmware 1.1.4 fixes this issue.
  • Does the Firmware 1.1.5 update include the January App Pack?
    No.
  • Can you downgrade from Firmware 2.0 to Firmware 1.1.5?
    Yes.
  • Does Firmware 1.1.5 include the App Store?
    No.
  • Can you run App Store applications on Firmware 1.1.5?
    No.
  • Is this update available for iPhone/iPhone 3G?
No, this is a iPod touch firmware update.
