i open them, see the loading screen ( i assume it;s that) and it closes. help?

oh, i have no idea about my firm ware, and want to know why i get this eeror message when i try to install customize in cydia: note: the requested modifications cannot be applied due to required dependencies or conflicts that cannot be automaticly found or fixed.

oh, and i have a custom backorund winterboard thing theme.

It's because all that requires firmware 2.x. Things have changed in 3.0 which make them crash when you start. Anyway, Winterboard is 100x better than Customize.

Firmware 3.0 is TONS better. I suggest sticking with that. In fact, you may want to un-jailbreak as, if you don't know what you are doing, you can damage your iPod hardware. You can always restore if you do that, but restoring takes a long time.
