Basically, he's saying that because he made more icons for it that it is now his theme. Also, he didn't make the 500 icons, after watching his videos, he asks the people on YouTube to create icons for the theme and send theme in to him. And do you know what the worst part is? He's even using the same .PSD I created so that other people can create icons for it!

You didn't steal anything from Apple.


There are themes and customizations all over the internet. They are not theft.

It is your graphic design, your "art". Your idea. Your concept.

Whether you go on to charge money for it, ask for donations, or keep it free is your choice.


He's got ads.

He is making money with "traffic" and with "hits".


I heard YouTube pays, but I don't know. My YouTube account is new.


I can make wallpapers and backgrounds. I have wallpapers and backgrounds in this forum.

No one says that is a theme.

Because I put something up in this forum doesn't mean it anyone can steal it.


I added a lot to the Polaroid theme: that does not make it my theme.


I got the same message: he says he made 500 icons.

I read the comments. He didn't make 500 icons. He is giving people that .psd


I reported it as objectionable material.

I also reported his video showing how to get pirated TV and movies.

He even has comments how to get cracked apps listed. I made screenshots.

I did this, because it makes the "jailbreak" look like it is for thieves.


Many, many people love the themes, personal customizations and legitimate apps from the software makers we can have or purchase, because we have the "jailbreak". I know, I do. We aren't stealing. The courts have ruled on that issue.


Don't you have a YouTube account? Sign up.

Then your YouTube app will have "Rate, Comment or Flag".

In there, it has "Rate or Comment", "Flag as Inappropriate".

I'd say it is up to you to provide the two links in his Comments, or better, direct to YouTube "Contact".

If you don't follow-up, he is going to continue.


I reported his video. Now, it is marked as "Private". It may mean he has blocked me.

I do not know, it may mean it is being reviewed by YouTube.

I have seen YouTube videos pulled down for using music without permission.

Well, I would fill in a copyright complaint to YouTube, but I didn't copyright it. I just posted it on YouTube and I don't really want my YouTube account to be taken down...

He isn't giving me credit for creating the original concept, but yet he said this: "you made the original concept true but you didnt make my theme." Funny, eh?

As much as it hurts there isnt anything you can do. I used to own a pc modding company and had a few product designs stolen as well as borrowed a few myself. Businesses do it all the time. The only difference between you and big business is that the big shots have the money to take it to court. I know your not getting any money for this but still, its really no different. Just look around the theme forum, there are designs that could be said it came from somewhere else. The point is, you'll drive youself nuts over something that cant be undone.

I've seen things like this on other themes.

I think the best thing you can do is e-mail the hosting people and ask for them to take it off Cydia. Make sure to give a crapload of proof that it is your theme.
