Default PwnageTool + New Macbook = Error 2001 or 21

It seems like Pwnage Tool doesn't work on the new MacBooks. It may be just me, but i'm starting from a fresh restored 2.1.

If i try to restore through iTunes to the custom firmware from DFU i get Error 2001:

If i try to restore through iTunes to the custom firmware from Restore Mode or just from the main screen i get Error 21:

Humph.

Not much help, but do you like the new MacBook?

I doubt that it doesn't work, it may have something to do with 10.5.5.

But there is a different build number on the new MacBooks. That means it's different...

Try using QuickPwn first.
iTunes 8 doesn't like PwnageTool, but after a device is pwned, it'll play nicely with it.

Quickpwn gets stuck. Let me run it again to show you where.

its not the macbook or the software, it itunes 8. you have to use quickpwn to pwn your ipod. i guess apple found some way to stop custom firmwares from being installed..

Well, why are you running iTunes during the process?
That makes no sense.
Kill any iTunes related processes.

It opened itself... As you can see from the beginning of the video, iTunes is not open.
Screw it, i just Quickpwned it on Windows. Although, does this count as being Pwned? Like can i restore in iTunes 8 on Mac to a custom firmware now?
