Street View Enabler by errrick is now available on Cydia. No need to edit your .plist files!
Search Cydia for "Street View Enabler" (BigBoss repo) and install. This way fixes the the "No Service" message in the status bar and removes the annoying "Waiting for activation" pop-up at reboot. The Music section also works in Settings. Confirmed working and safe on iPod Touch 1G running 2.2. w00t! DO NOT INSTALL THIS IF YOU HAVE AN iPHONE (duh!) OR YOUR FIRMWARE IS LESS THAN v2.2 To use Street View: Drop a pin on the desired street. (NB. There are not very many streets that Street View will work on yet! So go for a major city.) Click the pin and if there is an orange symbol on the label you are good to go. Click it. ![]() To return to the normal map view, click the map symbol (bottom right): ![]() Awesome. Thanks errrick Credits to 3rror404

It works PERFECTLY. I found out the reason why street view was not working all that well from my street is that its not a well known street so I put in a more populated address and it worked great. Thanks so much This ROCKS!

But I'm wondering why Street View on the iPhone does not cover all the areas that are covered if I am using a computer to search street view. |

That would take up an immense amount of memory....And who would want to look into a not-so-famous neighborhood anyways?
