Default iPod Touch 2G redsn0w AutoBooter

Hi all,

Just created an auto-booter for those who have already jailbreak their touch 2g, just run the exe and let it process itself, no command prompt will be shown just a few popups that will prompt u to put ur touch to dfu and unplug and plugging of usb cable.

Scripted using AutoIt.
I have attached the compile exe for windows and the au3 file which is apparently the source code for AutoIt. Just in case anybody wonder whether will it do anything harmful to the device, you can just open up the au3 file in notepad and see how it works

And of course you are required to put in the 3 files in the same directory
and of course the most hated libusb-filter-win32[HERE]

Orginal iBSS from firmware 2.1.1 [Name it iBSS211.dfu]
Patched iBSS from your custom firmware [Name it iBSS221.dfu]
Patched iBoot from your custom firmware [Name it iBoot221.img3]

Heres how it works
Attached Files
File Type: zip Autoboot.zip (294.2 KB, 550 views)

Well if you want to make comparisons....

Yours - 275K bytes with a support file. AutoIT (wtf)
Mine - 9K bytes and pure c/c++ baby. 30 minutes to make.

You do the math

HAte to be the mother...but dont be an asshole. He made something, you made something, let people decide...and the difference between 256kb or 9kb, is nothing, thats like saying my pizzas have 1 more pepperoni, so they are better...Good work both of you.

Thank you for this! Good job.
Yet this seems to have a bug. I tried running it in a folder with the required files but with the iPod NOT connected to the PC, and the exe started 'multiplying' indefinitely thus forcing me to reboot.
