Lightbulb [Video + Fix] Install LIBUSB on Windows Vista 64-Bit

I have just found a easier and faster way to get LIBUSB drivers working on Windows Vista 64-Bit. This new way does not require you to press F8 at startup or use a program like Readyboot.

Download here: http://www.fileden.com/files/2006/8/...IBUSB64Fix.zip

Open LIBUSB Fix.exe and follow the instructions. Make sure to install drivers right.

I've been waiting for this. Just a few questions.

2) Uninstall all previous versions of LIBUSB and install a new fresh copy.
When you said that, do you mean after installed the 32bit or 64bit version, what specific one are you talking about?

And what batch file are you talking about? I just don't want to mess this up

If you have LIBUSB installed right now, uninstall it before starting.
And the batch file is included. Run the program and you will see "Run batch"

What happens is that it won't install at all on Vista-x64 regardless of compatibility mode. In fact, it wouldn't install if you were using XP-x64 (not like any sane person would use it).

Also, I can't figure out where ReadyBoot is so I can uninstall it. lawlz EDIT: Nevermind, it's called ReadyDriver Plus. And I typed a bunch of confused stuff after this, but that's because I forgot there was an executable bundled with this that I was supposed to use. more lawlz

Windows Vista 64-bit enforces driver signature checking, failure to follow this method will result in either the blue screen of death or complete failure of your USB ports.

And why would any person not using Windows Vista 64-bit use this? Don't install it if your not using Vista 64-bit.
