Default Enable Disk Use iPod Touch 2g??

i searched. how can i do this? I wanna do it in school with a usb cable cuz im allowed and we have NO WIFI! its not locked, its JUST NOT THERE! so, how can i? windows explorer? just wanna store files and use it as a flash drive i dont need root access

The new iPods cannot be mounted as disks. The closest you could get is iPhone Browser, or use SSH

Oops, sorry about that. The only one i knew about from the AppStore was the one through an internet browser, i forget the name

You just want to use your iPod Touch as a storage device right? Then use DiskAid for OS X & Windows to drag & drop files in. And if you want to open some of those files (Music, movies, text, etc) use Discover.

Both are Free.

how 'bout a mod or somehting to the ipod itself cuz i cant install anything like diskaid on the pc's and there is no wifi. everything is hardwired.

You don't need Wifi to use DiskAid. Its all done through USB. Discover also doesn't use Wifi to access files in the DCIM folder. Anything in the DCIM folder.
