Erica's song identifying 'listen' app works w/ touch!

Hey guys, didn't see a post about this yet. Just tested Erica's new app called Listen that identifies songs(can be found in installer), and can confirm it works with the touch. I'm running firmware 1.1.2, and am using a modded walmart macally ivoice III for the mic pickup. This should be a bit of good news for folks that already modded an ivoice for the touchmods voip app. The app does crash once in a while, and I've had it crash to the apple loading screen a few times, but given it's a beta I can't complain. :-)

I don't get it.. what does this app do?
It identifies songs? What does that mean?

I guess it means that this program can figure out what song it "hears" through a microphone attachment.

it works like the feature on some verizon phones. You connect the mic, open the program, and let it 'listen' to whatever music is playing (on the radio, at someone's house). It'll think for a minute, and then pop up with the song name, artist, and possible album.

why has this application since disappeared from Installer.app? i cant find it at all, and i have AllSources installed...

I heard that she had to shut it down for legal reasons. I read that somewhere....

I take it that means that the database she was using was not allowed.

well then its a good thing i made a backup of all my applications
