Default iPod/iPhone wont read itunes

Hey so I have this problem with an ipod touch and an iPhone.

I recently jailbroke the 3.1.3 fw with the redsnow and 3.1.2 fw.
Im using an iphone 3gs.

It worked fine a bit then a few days later itunes automatically says it cant read my iphone and that i need to restore it? the iphone works perfectly and all, but i cant sync it at all because any computer i try it on says i need a restore?

how can i fix this WITHOUT a restore?
