Simple question
I have searched for this and I cant seem to find. How can I tell if my touch is a 2g or 3g?

Go to the back of your iPod and see if theres a print that says (C) 2008 Apple Inc, if there is it's a 2G.

Go settings--> general --> about.
If the model number begins MC it's a third gen, if it's MB you have a second gen. Simples. |
