Create Universal Icon Database, so themes can have icons for a lot of apps?

Why doesn't someone create a universal icon database that all themes use and can edit/add on to, so individual themes would change the icons of more than just 100~ apps that many people don't have. For example, Glasklart has over 5000 icons, and if everyone added on to that or something else, we could have a database of 100,000 apps that could be themed, so themes would really work without hassle.

The fundamental idea is great, but there will be some complications. For example, what if the icon doesn't fit the theme. Or if some uploads a virus/malicious software, ok fine, the virus can be stopped by an approval team but still, it wouldn't be very practical overall, maybe a database for ONE big theme that comes in several version, but not a universal one.

Just get Illumine theme from google it has like 5000 icons no joke

not really... glasklart has 5500 icons and it only takes 12 mb.
i meant that the database would have the name of every app and many variants of the icon for the same app could be made and stored in one place.

And then people would have to look through the database to find each icon they want. And then look through the alts to find the alts they want. Too time consuming if you ask me. Took me long enough to go through illumine to find alts I wanted.

iconharvester sounds like the thing u want... however u need the themes still anyway.... i guess just try loads of pro theme packs or something then using harvester to seive thru them till you find what you like
