This new version is absolutely packed with new features, most of them user requests. For those who are not familiar, Touchpad Pro is an application built on top of VNC that lets you control your main computer or laptop’s mouse and keyboard right from your iPhone or iPod Touch. Here’s a quick rundown of what you’ll find in the new version:

- New “Remote” button with cursor control and buttons for enter/escape/tab/backspace/tab and space keys. (Use with your media player!)
- Cursor inertia; flick in any direction and the mouse will continue to travel for a distance.
- Mouse acceleration.
- Portrait and landscape mode support.
- Online VNC connection help screen.
- Scroll with two-fingered vertical swipes.

the url for the site is www.touchpadpro.com and the app is now hosted in BigBoss' repo (part of community sources) so you don't need to add the cnp.qlnk.net site anymore.

the v2.01 release is a small bugfix since the 2.00 package didn't always show up in springboard.

the multitouch stuff is just perfect and also the scrolling speed is much better. Great update for an already great app.

I'm so glad this has moved on from being a stripped-down clone of VNsea. Very nice app indeed.
